My poor blog, I have been completely ignoring you for so long ... but don't worry, I am back to your arms!
Ever since I got my full-time continuous status, I felt more secured financially so I signed myself up with many activities after work. For example, I have season subscription to Alberta Ballet Broadway Across Canada, & Edmonton Opera. So far the first performance already took place in the summer, it was The Lion King and boy, just to see the customs is worth of the ticket price. The next even in line is opera - Rigoletto. Other than engage in art and cultural events, I have been listening to podcast like crazy!!! I was hoping to read a few books but this summer was full of movie-watching, traveling, podcast-listening ... and now Grad. school starts and I am taking two courses this term. Hopefully, next week I will have time at least to post some photos of my recent trips to Vegas and Vancouver/Victoria.
Tofu is fully-grown now, about 10 lbs and doesn't seem to be getting any bigger. She has calm down a lot ever since we got back from Vancouver/Victoria and although she is not the lap cat I had hoped for, she loves snuggle up in bed with us, just not on the couch. She has also developed a habit to milk my neck when she wakes up in the morning; she gets right up to my neck, buries her nose and starts to kneed. And she slobbers all over my neck as well.
OK, time for bed but here is what I made for Thanksgiving dinner this year (in clock-wise direction): Green Bean Salad, Cous Cous Salad, Roasted Butternut Squash, Apple/Cranberry Chicken, Portabella Mushroom Basked with Brie.
