Let's see, I can post some more photos of that cute kitty of mine or announce the fact that I just saw Star Trek and it was AWESOME! Okay, the time traveling plot was a bit confusing and I think I might need a timeline to be completely clear but it was AWESOME! It didn't matter at all that I never saw any of the tv series nor the old movies, the plot made sense and the actings were good especially the guy who played Zulu (he played Harold in Harold and Kumar). As an ESL, I totally sympathize with Anton Yelchin's pain with voice-recognition-password ... I especially like the fact that JJ Abrams didn't make the movie out to be totally serious and injected lots of humours. Oh and the special effects were pretty good too, I loved the Rumulan ship.
I have had a lot of fun this past weekend; the weather is finally nice after all the snow we had last

week. Replaced my good-old-cheap double mattress with a pocket-coil queen and it is worth every dollar I spent; I never knew a good mattress can make that much difference in sleep quality. Planted some Delilah and herbs in outdoor pots; fingers cross they will grow nicely as this is my first time planting Delilah bulbs.
I also had scored some good-buys; we got two huge bag (approximately 30 lbs) of potting soil from Costco for $10 per bag, paid only $400 for a 12,000 BTU Danby air-conditioner at Rona and bought this sparkly Sydny Bar Tray from Urban Barn - it was $270 but on sale for $109.
